I do this a lot on my Instagram account, but today I thought I’d share a few moments where I’m looking for beauty amidst the mundane.
For flax-colored golden trees as I drive. They say, “Look at me! I’m alive and vibrant and full of glory!”:
For a sweet baby girl whom I get to steal away with for quiet moments to nurse:
For jeans that fit and are the right length (got them hemmed for this shorty!) (jeans are Madewell):
For a few quiet minutes before school pickup. I’m choosing to read instead of looking at my phone.
For these two boys and their boisterousness, for that too, is beautiful:
For my mom coming with fresh art supplies and the perfect Fall day:
This is the ninth post for the Write 31 days challenge, where I’ll be writing every day through the month of October. I’m excited to see what comes of this daily practice. I’d love for you to comment, pin the above image, share posts and subscribe to receive posts to the right in the sidebar as we work through these things together. Posts in the series are all linked to from the first post.
