In pictures: beauty in the mundane, Oct. 17 edition

I like to chronicle little moments of beauty in my Instagram feed, but also like to bring it over to the blog too. Feel free to join me on Instagram and use the hashtag #beautyinthemundane.

Our house was getting out of control in the clutter department. I spent the majority of today tidying crazy hot spots/dump zones. This little mudroom corner is one of them. Should’ve taken a “before”.

The seasons are changing and we switched out our lightweight quilt for our puffy and cozy duvet. Love getting under a comfy blanket and reading!IMG_1488.JPG

Fall nights mean family walks in soft light and having your daddy push you on a neighborhood tire swing.IMG_1463.JPG

We had an unexpected dinner out. This little boy and his curls and that he likes to color gets me every time.

This little lady had a stomach bug yesterday. It’s a joy to see her smile today.IMG_1490.JPG

Too many good books to read and re-read. This is after I took about 5 to the bookshelf. It’s so hard to part with books at my bedside. IMG_1491.JPG

This is the eighteenth post for the Write 31 days challenge, where I’ll be writing every day through the month of October. I’m excited to see what comes of this daily practice. I’d love for you to comment, pin the above image, share posts and subscribe to receive posts to the right in the sidebar as we work through these things together. Posts in the series are all linked to from the first post.
